Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction in the Nashville area. The role requires managing civil projects from concept to completion, coordinating with clients and subs, and ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets are met.

The ideal candidate will read grading and utility plans, manage earthwork and site utilities, and lead field teams while proactively solving issues. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil experience in project management.
• Ability to read grading and utility plans, specifications, and geotechnical information.
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials for earthwork and site utility projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, safety, equipment maintenance and use, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong math ability and creative problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead crews and manage multiple personalities.

Responsabilités

• Attend client and subcontract meetings to understand project requirements.
• Compare budgets and bid documents for alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations to design intent.
• Lead subcontractors and supervision on the site.
• Obtain permits, licenses, access, etc.
• Lead in developing and planning overall project schedule.
• Anticipate problems and solve proactively.
• Lead Field Superintendents on projects.
