Henderson Group in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, coordinating with clients and subs, and ensuring on-time, on-budget, and safe delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of civil construction, ability to read grading and utility plans, and proven leadership of field teams. Competitive salary, benefits, and a performance bonus plan are provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret grading and utility plans, specs, and geotechnical data.
• Knowledge of earthwork equipment and materials for site utilities.
• Extensive knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong math skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple personalities on site.

Responsabilités

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to capture project requirements.
• Compare budgets to bid documents for alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans and schedules.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations for design intent.
• Lead subcontractors and supervision on the project site.
• Obtain permits and licenses as required for the project.
• Plan overall project schedule and anticipate issues before they arise.
• Lead field superintendents and coordinate site operations.
