A leading telecommunications company seeks a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex telecom deployments and initiatives. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead full lifecycle project management of telecom-specific deployments, upgrades, and service initiatives
- Serve as the primary liaison for Tier 1 Telco clients, managing communications, expectations, and escalations
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and status reporting
- Drive alignment across engineering, operations, product, legal, and finance teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
- Track KPIs and project performance; provide regular executive updates and insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of project management experience within the telecom industry, preferably supporting Tier 1 Telco clients
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager
- Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional telecom projects involving network infrastructure, 5G, Ethernet, Backhaul, Fiber Transport, or OSS/BSS
- Strong understanding of carrier-grade services, network operations, and service delivery processes
- Experience in a Professional Services or Managed Services environment, leading external customer-facing projects
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in engineering, network planning, or telecom service delivery
- Familiarity with Telco-specific systems and delivery models
- Agile or SAFe certification
- Experience working in vendor or systems integrator environments
- Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, or Collaboration (Unified Communications) Project Management experience
