Job summary

Flatiron Energy LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Construction, to lead grid-scale energy storage projects from construction through commissioning. You will manage scopes, schedules, and budgets while coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in energy infrastructure construction, PMP preferred, OSHA 30-Hour highly desired, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction and design of energy infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating contractors on large infrastructure projects with multiple disciplines.
• Experience developing, executing, and managing construction deliverables and safety reports.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (IEEE, NFPA, ANSI, UL, etc.).
• PM certification (PMP) or equivalent preferred; OSHA 30-Hr preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets with stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Track progress, prepare status reports, and adjust plans to stay on schedule and budget.
• Manage schedule, cash flow, deliverables, RFIs, change orders, and milestones.
• Document meetings with external stakeholders and share notes with internal teams.
• Build relationships with contractors and ensure quality and meeting expectations.
• Oversee QA/QC to meet industry standards; communicate outcomes clearly.
• Travel to sites 6-8 days per month during construction milestones.
• Handover projects to Operations for a smooth transition.
