Job summary

Onterris, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager Geologist to lead and manage environmental projects in Nashville, TN. You will oversee field teams, coordinate data collection, and prepare regulatory-compliant reports and maps for project recommendations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental-related science (Geology), 5+ years of consulting experience, and a PG license. GIS experience is a plus, with up to 30% travel and a possibility to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental-related science (Geology) from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of professional consulting experience, or combination of consulting and other relevant professional environmental experience.
• Possess or plan to possess a Professional Geologist (PG) license.
• Experience with GIS is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits, data collection and reporting as part of project work.
• Prepare reports, tables, maps, drawings, and visual aids to evaluate, plan and obtain regulatory approval on project recommendations.
• Direct field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities.
• Establish and maintain long-term working relationships with clients.
• Oversee proposals and business development activities.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and work in collaborative teams to solve problems and advance projects.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Stay current on industry trends through training and professional workshops.
