Job summary

Bednark Studio is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex fabrication projects from scope through production, delivery and closeout. You will own client relationships, coordinate design and fabrication teams, and safeguard schedules and budgets to meet Bednark’s high quality standards.

You’ll drive cross‑functional collaboration, manage risk, review estimates and change orders, and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in fabrication, experiential production, or related environment.
• Independently manage large, complex projects from scope through fabrication, installation and closeout.
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials, finishes, and hardware.
• Ability to read, interpret, and redline technical drawings.
• Experience developing project scopes, estimates, budgets, and change orders.
• Strong financial understanding and experience managing projects against budgets and margins.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Experience working with fabrication and production teams in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client communication and be primary project contact.
• Build long-term client relationships and represent Bednark’s standards.
• Interpret client feedback into actionable direction for internal teams.
• Communicate consistently on behalf of the shop.
• Identify project risks and present proactive solutions.
• Develop build proposals aligning client goals with budget and timelines.
• Recommend materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Guide clients through fabrication decisions when extra expertise is needed.
• Analyze projects for constructability and value-engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with Department Leads to identify production risks and solutions.
• Drive projects through production processes to maintain efficiency, quality, and schedule.
• Develop and track samples, mockups, and approvals.
• Manage and document change orders; maintain project docs.
