Zusammenfassung

OnlyHire.Me is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Estimator to support multiple heavy civil construction divisions in Tucson, Arizona. You will oversee estimates, schedules, budgets, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a strong background in construction estimating, project management, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and field execution.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in construction estimating, project management, cost control
• Experience with heavy civil infrastructure and utilities projects
• Familiarity with JOC, site development, and asphalt is a plus
• Ability to mentor project engineers and assisting estimators
• Demonstrated longevity and stability in prior roles

Aufgaben

• Review plans, specs, and contract documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost or execution challenges.
• Prepare and submit estimates per contract requirements.
• Develop RFPS for subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate quantity takeoffs with project engineers and estimating staff.
• Review subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Participate in handoff meetings to ensure smooth transitioning from estimating to execution.
• Mentor and supervise project engineers and assistant estimators.
• Manage construction projects with internal teams, subcontractors, and owners.
• Attend project meetings and address safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
• Monitor job costs, budgets, and monthly forecasts.
• Prepare and submit payment applications and review subcontractor payments.
• Prepare change orders and RFIs; resolve outstanding issues.
• Manage project closeout documentation and mentorship of engineers
