We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager, Equitable Stakeholder Engagement to join our Policy & Ratings team. This team supports the development of building codes, product standards, and policies through an inclusive, data-driven analytical approach that emphasizes stakeholder engagement. Your work will impact energy markets at state, national, and international levels, influencing policies that affect diverse communities and market actors, ensuring benefits are distributed equitably.

Your leadership will help us achieve equitable processes and outcomes in policies promoting clean energy technologies. You will develop frameworks, build partnerships, analyze policies with a focus on equity, and engage with policy proceedings at various government levels, always applying an equity lens.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to developing stakeholder engagement processes that foster collaboration among impacted communities, manufacturers, and contractors. Strong relationship-building skills and experience engaging with state and federal policy are essential.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing equity-focused stakeholder engagement strategies for building codes, standards, and policies.
  • Integrating equity frameworks into programs and public engagement processes.
  • Building partnerships with organizations serving underserved communities.
  • Engaging with coalitions to advance policy and regulation.
  • Assessing equity concerns related to regulations and policies.
  • Briefing stakeholders on public engagement proceedings related to decarbonization policy.
  • Providing leadership on evolving engagement processes to promote equity.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education.
  • At least 8 years of experience in energy/environmental sectors focusing on equity/social justice.
  • Proven commitment to energy equity and justice.
  • Experience developing public engagement processes and coalition-building.
  • Experience working with industry on codes and standards.
  • Strong relationship-building skills at state and federal levels.
  • Experience implementing equity frameworks with demonstrated results.
  • Knowledge of NGOs, government agencies, and community organizations in the clean energy sector.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical subject matter.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with building energy codes or product standards.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and SharePoint.

Compensation ranges from $92,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, including a comprehensive benefits package and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
