Job summary

LJA Engineering in Florida is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Florida Survey Department, guiding survey technicians and support staff to deliver accurate field and office work across multiple projects.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to set annual plans, manage budgets and client relationships, and coordinate with project teams to meet timeframes and cost targets, using AutoCAD and related tools in an employee‑owned environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in the industry.
• 5 years of project management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Florida Survey department and staff.
• Oversee project time and cost estimates and manpower projections.
• Establish annual business plans with executive leadership.
• Collaborate with PMs to determine timeframes, budgets, and staffing.
• Maintain executive level client relationships and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with project proposals and maintain project plans.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Utilize AutoCAD and related software as needed.
