MSA has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager Engineering to support our clients in the Sarasota, FL area. In this role you will be an integral part of growing the office both in personnel and electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC projects. As the outward face, you have the proven ability to form trusting relationships and can bring new ones to the table and together you will make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Project pursuit and initiation
  • Project planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, invoicing, and project close out.
  • Serve on internal committees and participates in internal process improvements regarding Project Management.
  • Manage a project team with limited oversight from supervisor.
  • Serve as internal and external facing primary point of contact for projects.
  • Manage discipline-specific projects of all complexities and multi-discipline projects of moderate to high complexity.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering required, a master’s degree a plus
  • Degree emphasis on HVAC, electrical or plumbing design
  • 10+ years of previous consulting experience
  • PE license in Florida required
  • Prior plan production and project management experience required
  • Expert knowledge of technical project delivery in 1-2 disciplines with a focus on project management, high proficiency in ERP, and client communication
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
