Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee large electrical projects ($20M+) across various sectors including : Alternative Energy, Automation, Civil, Power and Line, Technology, Healthcare, and Entertainment. You will provide technical and engineering support as required, and hold overall responsibility for profit and loss, with appropriate authority.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction and design efforts to ensure compliance with design, NEC, budget, and schedule.
  • Coordinate communication among internal and external project members.
  • Authorize project staff transactions and select key personnel.
  • Guide planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.
  • Participate in estimating and writing bids.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions, invoices, and change orders.
  • Implement and interpret safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance.
  • Maintain project documentation and logs.
  • Manage customer relations, sales, and marketing efforts.
  • Understand labor agreements and standards specific to projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, IBEW Apprentice Training, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to relocate temporarily to job sites.
  • Experience with Accubid and Bluebeam Revu is a plus.

Travel to project sites may be required, including temporary relocation. Salary ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, wellness programs, professional development, and more.
