Job summary

Stratus is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager for our Education Team, responsible for development of production drawings and specifications from programming and schematic design through construction documents and permitting phases. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires guiding client decisions, mentoring multi-disciplinary teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to align design solutions with project goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 15+ years of professional experience in architecture, including leadership of complex projects.
• Experience with adaptive reuse, renovations, and complex building types.
• Proficiency in design and documentation tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and take full ownership of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring delivery across scope, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as the primary client contact, guiding decision-making and building long-term relationships.
• Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high-performance delivery.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align design solutions with project goals, timelines, and financial targets.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and standards; oversee construction documents and technical deliverables.
• Lead proposals, scope definition, and fee negotiations to support project acquisition.
• Oversee project financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
