Job summary

WW Clyde is seeking a Project Manager to oversee earthwork, mass excavation, and site utilities in Texas. You will manage cost control, scheduling, and field operations while leading an on-site team to deliver projects safely and on budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of heavy civil experience, a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management, and proficiency in MS Office; experience with HCSS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of heavy civil project management experience with earthwork, mass excavation, and site utilities.
• Strong knowledge of project cost control, scheduling, and field operations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with HCSS preferred.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
• Direct the on-site Superintendent to monitor and control construction activities.
• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions with clear direction.
• Oversee project budgets, manage costs and equipment rental, and take corrective actions.
• Manage heavy civil work including mass excavation and site utilities safely and per specs.
• Investigate serious issues and implement corrective measures.
• Represent the company in project meetings and build client/engineer relationships.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance on site.
