Job summary

Austin Community College seeks a Project Manager 3 to lead design and construction projects for college facilities from initiation through design, construction, and warranty phases. The PM3 will manage multiple projects, mentor less experienced staff, and coordinate with ACC stakeholders.

Applicants should have 8+ years of experience in design/construction, a bachelor’s in CM/Architecture/Engineering, and hold or pursue PM certifications.

Qualifications

• Eight years related work experience providing project management of design and/or construction activities for renovations and new construction of institutional or commercial facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Experience with owner’s representative roles in institutional settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish project scope, budget, and delivery schedule; secure funding and procure design consultants/vendors.
• Direct design and construction phases to meet scope, budget and schedule.
• Communicate with stakeholders to update project status and ensure compliance with standards.
