Senior Project Manager – Warehouse & Distribution Center Transformation

A global medical-device organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the operational and technology separation of warehouse and distribution-center sites as part of a major corporate divestiture. The role will coordinate the transition of supply-chain processes, business operations and critical applications from one company environment into another while maintaining uninterrupted warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end consolidated planning and execution across multiple warehouse and distribution-center sites
- Develop and maintain the integrated program plan across business, operations, applications, IT and engineering workstreams
- Lead application and ERP cutover planning, sequencing, readiness and execution
- Coordinate site-specific timelines with broader global program milestones
- Gather and validate requirements for business, local and engineering applications
- Oversee UAT/EUAT, defect resolution, readiness reviews and business sign-off
- Establish go/no-go criteria, contingency plans and business-continuity procedures
- Manage cross-site dependencies, risks, early warnings, escalations and critical decisions
- Coordinate warehouse operations, supply chain, IT, application teams, vendors and senior leadership
- Support go-live, hypercare and post-migration stabilization
- Provide clear program updates and recommendations to global business and IT leaders
- Help ensure warehouse operations continue without major disruption throughout the transition
Required Experience
- Senior-level project management experience within warehouse, distribution, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments
- Direct experience leading application cutovers, ERP migrations or major business-system transitions
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution processes, including receiving, inventory, picking, packing and shipping
- Experience leading site migrations, consolidations, carve-outs, divestitures or company separations
- Experience managing multi-site or multi-workstream transformation programs
- Knowledge of ERP, WMS, OMS or other warehouse and supply-chain applicationsHands-on involvement with UAT/EUAT, data migration, operational readiness, go-live and hypercare
- Strong risk, dependency, escalation and executive-reporting experience
- Ability to coordinate technical and nontechnical stakeholders across global teams
- Willingness to be on-site approximately 40% of the time, particularly during planning, testing and go-live
Preferred Experience
- SAP or S/4HANA experience
- Infrastructure or networking exposure within a site migration
- Medical-device, pharmaceutical or regulated-manufacturing experience
- Previous experience maintaining business continuity during a major operational transition
- PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma or similar credentials
