Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Data Management in Buffalo, NY, with a hybrid work setup (minimum three days in-office). You will lead data management programs across multiple projects, aligning strategy, governance, risk, and value realization while partnering with IT and business stakeholders.

Strong leadership and executive communication are essential. Responsibilities include developing roadmaps, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and ensuring audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project or program management within IT, business transformation, or a cross-functional environment.
• At least 5 years managing large, cross-functional programs or multiple interrelated projects/workstreams.
• Over 3 years in a people leader or matrix leadership role with demonstrated ability to motivate teams.
• Proven executive communication skills and ability to influence decision-making across all levels.
• Experience managing complex initiatives with cross-functional dependencies, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Strong knowledge of PMI, Agile, SAFe, hybrid delivery models, and related program management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program strategy, roadmaps, integrated plans, schedules, milestones, and performance measures.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs across business, technical, and vendor teams.
• Interface with executives and sponsors; provide concise updates and escalation of risks.
• Establish program governance: logs, action tracking, risk/issue management, audit readiness, compliance.
• Incorporate change management milestones into program plans.
• Own program budget, resource planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage vendor/partner performance against contracts and timelines.
• Use PM tools to improve visibility, documentation, and efficiency.
• Support Data Governance initiatives including Data Council cadence and MDM/Data Quality tracking.
