Job summary

Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a $100M+ hyperscale data center project in Austin and Dallas. You will oversee delivery from pre-construction through commissioning, coordinating with clients, project teams, and field operations.

The role demands strong leadership of large project teams, accountability for schedule, budget, safety, and quality, and effective communication with clients and subcontractors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading $50M+ data center and/or large-scale mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Strong background in construction project management, taking projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams and manage complex field operations.
• Strong client-facing communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, teams, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly between project sites.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a high profile mission critical project, ensuring successful delivery from pre-construction through completion.
• Direct project strategy, scheduling, coordination, and field execution across multiple sites.
• Oversee and develop project management and field teams, maintaining accountability for schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Anticipate project challenges, manage risk, and implement solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Ensure strong communication and coordination across all parties involved in project delivery.
