Senior Project Manager (Data Center) - Mission Critical Construction - Waddell, Arizona

Salary: $139,000 to $185,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of mission-critical construction projects from pursuit through warranty. This leadership role is for a strategic thinker who excels at business development, preconstruction, project execution, team leadership, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Relations

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Lead marketing and business development efforts.
• Drive the pursuit process by creating winning strategies for proposals and interviews.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate future business.

Project Leadership

• Manage one large-scale or multiple small-to-medium commercial construction projects.
• Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout and warranty.
• Lead the budgeting and bidding process, including document review and bid-day activities.
• Direct estimating and preconstruction teams while coordinating purchasing and operations.
• Monitor project budgets, labor resources, schedules, quality, and overall project performance.
• Review, negotiate, and execute owner change orders and subcontract agreements.
• Supervise the development and maintenance of construction schedules.
• Prepare and review monthly financial projections and project reporting.
• Coordinate peer reviews and project performance audits.
• Ensure projects meet or exceed expectations for profitability, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.

Safety Leadership

• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and Safety personnel to ensure compliance with company and client safety requirements.
• Participate in safety planning during preconstruction.

• Support incident investigations and continuous safety improvement initiatives.

• Mentor and develop project team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10-15 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong experience managing complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard construction management technologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong financial, contractual, and operational decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• OSHA 10 Certification.

Preferred

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Experience with mission-critical construction projects.
• Active involvement in industry organizations and professional networking.
