Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Associate, Project Management for a hybrid role in Richmond, VA.

You will lead cross-functional efforts within the DaaS Acquisitions Delivery Team, outlining requirements, managing project plans, identifying risks, and building key components to bring new products to market. The role requires 2+ years of PM experience, strong communication, and collaboration skills, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or military background.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, BPM, or Project Management certification.
• Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, understand, and document requirements to guide users through a new product lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and drive continuous process improvements.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in developing mitigation plans and monitor findings for timely closure.
• Communicate clearly with messaging tailored to audience and stakeholders.
• Day-to-day oversight of workload with minimal supervision.
