Job summary

First American is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee multiple medium-to-large projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and value realization. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and develop plans to meet business goals.

This role requires strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills, with PMP/CSM preferred. Base location in Washington and a dynamic, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of directly related project management experience.
• PMP and CSM certifications preferred.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Knowledge of PM best practices and current technologies.
• Experience with project management methodologies and techniques.
• Experience communicating with team members, customers and management.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and administering projects in business/tech environments.
• Experience with risk management and managing multiple projects or large projects.
• Experience with managing project plans and budgets.
• Experience facilitating meetings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently oversees multiple medium to large scale complex projects.
• Coordinates project deliverables, plans and status reports.
• Identifies resources needed and coordinates schedules for timely completion.
• Creates project plans with goals, strategy, staffing, risks, budgets, and resources.
• Facilitates status and milestone meetings across cross-functional groups.
• Monitors risks and controls to meet outcomes on time and on budget.
• Collaborates with end users, business technologists and others to align with goals and information needs.
• Monitors project budgets, cost estimates and forecasting.
• Prepares status reports and informs team, management and clients of progress and issues.
• May work outside normal hours as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
