Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple real estate projects in Atlanta, ensuring on-site management five days a week at the corporate campus. You will coordinate scope, budgets and schedules, reporting to the Project Management Director and guiding other project managers.

The role requires expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risk, and delivering projects from initiation through closeout in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software such as Procore or similar.
  • Lucernex software experience is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mindset.

About the role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services to our global client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Construction projects may include infrastructure/MEP capital improvements, campus transformation, and office workplace IT and AV enablement for three large corporate office campuses in Atlanta, GA. The Sr. Project Manager will possibly manage national projects while providing project reporting to Project Management Director and project partners.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.Role requires onsite presence 5 days/week at corporate campus in Atlanta.

What you’ll do

Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.

Project reporting to Project Management Director and other business leaders

Management and coaching other Project Managers to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or advanced.

Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.

Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job subject areas within the organization function.

Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding technical project scheduling like IT to avoid work interruptions
  • Project reporting to Director and other business leaders experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Procore or similar project management software. Lucernex software experience is beneficial.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
