Position Overview

EPC Services Company, a leading power/utility engineering consultant and construction firm, has immediate openings for full-time Senior Project Managers in our Billings, MT office. Consideration for a remote-work arrangement will be based on a candidate's level of industry experience in Project Management.

This senior professional project management role involves strategic planning and management of construction projects for electrical power, communications, and industrial facilities, including civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines. Senior Project Managers serve as key resources to general and executive managers, providing insights and counsel on high-level business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and management of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) turnkey projects.
• Program management for large clients, general project management, project financials, bidding, safety, field support, administration, and training/mentoring of project staff.
• Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, with potential reporting to the General Manager, Vice President, or President, depending on the project.
• Supervising Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers as needed.
• Occasional travel for project monitoring and control.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, with at least 10 years of project management experience on complex transmission line or substation construction projects. Experience with high-voltage electrical systems and electrical design of substations/switchyards is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are required. Experience with Vista (Viewpoint) software is advantageous.

The candidate must pass all company and client-mandated drug and background checks. Occasional travel is required, and applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
