Xcel Energy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end, large-scale programs across the organization. You will guide initiation, scope, schedule, cost, and risk while aligning financial and operational goals.

The role requires strong leadership to drive cross-functional teams and ensure successful delivery of project benefits. Eligible candidates have at least 10 years in project management and related fields, with a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or a comparable function.
• 10 years' experience in project management and process improvement.
• Ability to facilitate, train, lead and influence others, and adapt to change quickly.
• Experience providing work direction to diverse/distributed teams.
• Understanding of core business processes/industry trends and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: develop business cases, define deliverables and milestones.
• Project Management: manage detailed plans to approved scope/schedule, report progress.
• Financial Management: budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking; contract support.
• Resource Management: forecast, schedule, and manage internal/external resources.
• Scope & Risk Management: manage change processes and mitigation strategies.
• Relationship Management: communicate status to stakeholders up to senior leaders.
