Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Interior Design or related field (e.g., Architecture).
• Typically 8+ years of experience in design leadership roles.
• NCIDQ certification or architectural license strongly preferred.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and manage project teams across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary project relationship lead, aligning client needs with project goals and progress.
• Oversee execution and delivery of design documents through all project phases including post-occupancy learnings.
• Collaborate on programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation across teams.
• Coordinate internal and external project participants and manage team interactions.
• Oversee application of products and materials appropriate for the project and pursue innovative design solutions.
• Lead meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain action-item logs to ensure accountability.
• Assist in advancing design technology and explore new tools to improve interior design services.
