Job summary

Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. in Castle Rock seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee budgets, contracts, schedules, and team coordination, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while mentoring project staff.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with proven success leading complex projects.
• Strong expertise in project financial management, contracts, scheduling, and construction operations.
• In-depth knowledge of construction means and methods, codes, and documentation processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project delivery, including preconstruction, design coordination, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Oversee budgets, cost projections, pay applications, change management, and financial reporting.
• Direct subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Partner with superintendents and preconstruction teams to develop schedules, sequencing plans, and project strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contract compliance across all project activities.
• Manage risk by proactively identifying issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and project team members to strengthen overall performance.
