Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Project Manager II for New Generation Services to lead large-scale projects from development through startup and closeout. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction across project phases.

Ideal candidates have a engineering background, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience managing large power generation or industrial projects.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of project management, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites and construction locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a single project exceeding $50M or serve as Deputy Project Manager on a larger project.
• Facilitate communication of project status, risks, and opportunities with stakeholders and leadership.
• Capture lessons learned and provide after-action reviews and project summaries.
• Identify project risks and mitigation plans; oversee baseline financial performance with cost control teams.
• Provide regular cost reporting, forecasting, and project analysis.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and resource alignment.
• Lead all phases of project execution using Mitsubishi Power project management standards.
