Job summary

Thompson Industrial Services, LLC is seeking an experienced project lead to oversee large-scale chemical cleaning initiatives across oil & gas, refining, and chemical industries. You will plan, mobilize, execute, and close out projects with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include developing work plans, coordinating field crews and logistics, preparing estimates and proposals, and delivering tailored cleaning solutions while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in chemical cleaning operations.
• Experience managing large-scale industrial cleaning projects in oil & gas, refining, or chemical industries.
• Strong understanding of chemical cleaning processes and industrial equipment.
• Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, and financial oversight.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of chemical cleaning projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop detailed work plans, procedures, schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate field crews, equipment, subcontractors, and logistics to ensure efficient execution.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, and proposals, including scopes, schedules, and cost breakdowns.
• Provide technical consultation and tailored cleaning solutions to meet customer needs.
• Deliver clear communication including project updates, reports, and documentation.
