Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple real estate projects on-site at a client campus in Dearborn, MI. You will manage planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout while coordinating with clients on scope, budgets, milestones, and risk management.

You'll define resources, run RFPs, evaluate bids, and ensure schedules are met. The role requires 8–10 years of experience, strong leadership, and a proactive mindset to drive cross-disciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project (scope, resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan and milestones, quality control, risk).
• Define project delivery resources, conduct complex RFPs, evaluate bids, and recommend resources to clients.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues are resolved or escalated.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop new methods for accomplishing department objectives.
• Showcase expertise in the job discipline and broaden knowledge across related disciplines.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise.
• Impact customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams; follow policies and procedures.
• Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.
• Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

About the role

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

This role is on-site at our client's campus in Dearborn, MI.

What you'll do

• Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.
• Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
• Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
• Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
• Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
