Salary Range
$110,000 - $120,000 annualized,commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Campus Construction is responsiblefor setting up project success by developing scopes of work,planning projects, and managing construction activities throughproject close-out. The position leads project definitioncoordination, project budget & schedule development, andcustomer service efforts.
Core Responsibilities
- Meets with facility users to develop scopes of work and projectschedules and budgets.
- Communicates with internal stakeholders and Real Estate andProperty Management leadership by performing project analysis andreporting methodologies.
- Prepares cost estimates and obtain approvals necessary to begina project.
- Coordinates in the selection of professional design firms andcoordinate comments to drawings and specifications during thedesign process.
- Assists in the preparation of bid documents for procurement ofconstruction services as well as the selection of contractors.
- Coordinates design review with internal Authority HavingJurisdiction (AHJ), Project Management Team, and Pre-ConstructionConferences.
- Ensures that design documents and construction activitiescomply with university standards, federal and state regulations,and applicable codes and standards.
- Reviews, processes, and approves construction related RFIs,ASIs, cost proposals, change orders, invoices, pay applications,and other related project documents.
- Conducts team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and budgetreviews.
- Monitors and complies with project budgets and schedules.
- Monitors construction for quality, coordinate punch list andROD corrections, and assist maintenance with warranty issues forone year.
- Coordinates inspections and the involvement of the University'strade shops and departments associated with the project.
- Schedules, coordinates, and communicates utility outages.Coordinate planned construction activities with affected buildingoccupants and UT San Antonio service departments. Assistcontractors to gain access to occupied buildings.
- Collects and disseminates a complete set of project closeoutdocumentation.
- Supports the Real Estate and Property Management Team inbusiness activities.
- Updates monthly reports.
- Establishes and maintains positive and effective relationshipsand communication with client, construction manager, project team,consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, and adjacentcommunity.
- Uses project management and scheduling software consistentlyand accurately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Seven (7) years of related work experience.
- Additional education or certifications may substitute forexperience on a one year for one year basis.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security andintegrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per TexasEO-GA-48.

Working Conditions
- Usual office and construction site environments. Job dutiesoccasionally require odd hours and weekend work.
- Conditions include working in extreme heat, inclement weather,and activities which require bending, climbing, andcrawling.
- Job duties may occasionally require working at heights, inconfined spaces, around rotating machinery, around energizedsystems, around biohazards, and around chemicals.
- Occasionally attend meetings and training off-site and out oftown.
- Job duties may require frequent travel to multipleuniversity-owned campuses and leased spaces.
- General supervision from Director of InstitutionalConstruction.
- General supervision of Real Estate and Property Management andUT San Antonio personnel.
- Occasional supervision of Work Studies, and StudentInterns.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
This position will work primarily on campus.Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
