Job summary

Clune Construction Company, L.P. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects. This role includes managing all phases of construction, client relations, and budget management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and over 9 years in construction project management, particularly in aviation and internal fit-out projects.

Competitive pay range between $135,000 and $219,000 depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, stock ownership, and retirement plans.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects. The core responsibilities include full responsibility of all phases of construction from budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, through closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead RFP responses, including presentations and pitches.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts from budgets or existing condition review through final budget approval.
  • Manage contract review process with owner and subcontractor contracts.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to project teams on project issues.
  • Oversee project cost control and budget management.
  • Develop and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Lead business development and client relationship management, organizing client events and maintaining relationships with designers and clients.
  • Contribute to growth by participating in candidate interviews, mentoring programs, intern program, and training classes.
  • Model professional behavior for all team members.
  • Supervise Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and interns as assigned.
Requirements

  • Exceptional oral and written communication; ability to interact with high-end clientele.
  • Strong estimating, budgeting, and financial acumen.
  • Strong drawing review skills.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; strong work experience considered.
  • 9+ years of construction project management experience, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years, or Master’s with 3+ years.
  • 2-3 years of experience in internal fit-out aviation construction projects.
  • Experience managing field operations including scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software.
Pay Range

$135,000-$219,000 (range depends on location and experience).
