Job summary

Aerex Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead manufacturing projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and production to meet quality standards and delivery schedules. The ideal candidate holds a BS in engineering, has 10+ years of project management experience, and is proficient with ASME codes, 3D CAD, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field related to the role.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME Section VIII Division I, ASTM IX.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling and drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution of multiple projects.
• Review and execute projects per plans and specifications.
• Develop, organize, and obtain approvals on product submittals.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques.
• Balance risk and cost optimization to maximize profits.
• Create and maintain project documentation.
• Estimate and order materials per plans and submittals.
• Meet budget objectives and adjust constraints as needed.
• Develop detailed project plans and share with clients and staff.
• Document needs with spreadsheets and process maps.
• Revise CAD models and Bills of Materials as required.
• Perform QA/QC related duties and assist with training of PMs and estimators.

Aerex Industries is currently looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team. Authorization to work for any US employer is a pre-condition of employment.

Aerex Industries is a manufacturing facility that specializes in process treatment equipment, ASME pressure vessels, ASME B31.3 process piping and components utilized by Municipal Water and Wastewater facilities, nuclear power plants, Oil & Gas, and other various private, public, and governmental sectors. Our teams of specialized engineers, technicians, welders, and machinists work together to execute the design, simulation, manufacturing, and testing of all our equipment.

Aerex Industries is an ASME Code authorized fabrication facility possessing the “U”, “S” & “R” ASME Certificates of Authorization.

Job Description:

In this role, your responsibilities include but not limited to, the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. You will work with a variety of different teams, including designers, engineers, and production workers, to ensure that each product meets quality standards and is delivered on time.

Manufacturing project managers may also be responsible for managing the flow of information between all of these groups. This includes ensuring that everyone knows what’s going on at all times, as well as making sure that they’re all working together effectively toward a common goal.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
• Review, comprehend and execute projects in accordance with project plans and specification documents.
• Develop, organize, and obtain approvals on product submittals.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Balance risk management and cost optimization to minimize potential risks while maximizing profits.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Order materials pre plans, specifications and approved submittals.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
• Revise and maintain minor corrections to CAD models and Bill’s of Material.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Participate in QA/QC process
• Assist with training project managers and estimators.

Desired Skills and Experiences

• Require a B.S. degree in related engineering field (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, etc.)
• A minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME Section VIII Division I, ASTM Section IX
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, drawings and machine design.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes including turning, milling, and welding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to handle a fast pace and high pressure work load.
