Summary

The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) will lead and oversee the full scope of Roebuck Landscaping’s (RL) large‑scale Commercial Landscape Construction projects, from pre‑construction planning to field execution and final closeout. As a key right‑hand leader to the Director of Landscape Construction, the Sr. PM will ensure operational excellence, budget accountability, and seamless project experience for clients.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead the planning and execution of large commercial landscape construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met with excellence.
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and critical path scheduling.
  • Track and manage labor hours, materials, and equipment to maintain profitability.
Construction Site Oversight
  • Maintain a visible presence across multiple job sites—conduct inspections, assess progress, and ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Solve problems in real time to prevent delays and maintain momentum.
  • Coordinate between internal crews, vendors, and clients to streamline communication and execution.
Operational & Budget Management
  • Partner with estimating and pre‑construction teams on project handoffs and build strategies.
  • Monitor budget performance and change orders to maintain margin goals.
  • Ensure timely billing and closeout documentation for completed projects.
  • Use Aspire (or similar platform) to track project costs, reporting, and efficiency metrics.
  • Manage Foremen, Assistant PMs, and crew teams—driving a high‑performance, accountable culture.
  • Foster talent development, provide feedback, and lead with RL’s Core Values front and center.
  • Build team alignment around project goals, safety standards, and customer expectations.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the face of RL on project sites, delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and maintain clear, proactive communication.
  • Troubleshoot concerns and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Build long‑term relationships with GC partners, owners, and vendors.
First Year Expectations & Ongoing Excellence
  • Deliver high‑impact commercial projects on time, on budget, and above expectations.
  • Build confidence across the RL team and client base through project consistency and communication.
  • Implement repeatable processes that increase crew productivity and efficiency.
  • Partner with the Director of Landscape Construction to scale our project management function.
  • Serve as a culture carrier for field and leadership teams—modeling RL’s standard of excellence.
  • Mentor and develop emerging leaders within construction operations.
  • Uphold safety as a top priority and ensure 100% compliance across all projects.
  • Contribute to improving RL’s reputation as the go‑to landscape construction partner in the Southeast.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in landscape or construction project management, preferably in large‑scale commercial work.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects over $250K+.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of landscape and hardscape installation techniques.
  • Experience with Aspire or similar project management/field reporting platforms.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification or strong working knowledge of construction safety protocols.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, field‑driven environment with changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred.
