Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Controller to lead day-to-day execution and project controls for healthcare, advanced technology, life sciences, higher education, and other core markets. You will mentor all project team members and serve as the primary contact with owners and architects, overseeing cost control, billing, and financial performance.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day execution and project controls for commercial construction projects in healthcare, advanced technology, life sciences, higher education, and other core markets.
  • Manage and mentor all project team members, including senior project engineers, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinators.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with owners and architects, overseeing cost control, billing, collections, and financial performance.
  • Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction, addressing risks and critical success factors.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience, with strong knowledge of building processes, cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (e.g., Prolog), accounting cost management software (e.g., CMIC), and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera).
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and team‑morale skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and a “can‑do” attitude.
Compensation

Anticipated starting pay range: $160,000.00 – $220,000.00 (salaried position).
