Are you a strategic and experienced project leader ready to take on complex, high-impact initiatives? Trissential is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our client’s team in support of a major transformation program. Your Role & Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight on enterprise-wide projects under a $54M transformation initiative
• Lead cross-functional teams through hybrid (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) delivery models
• Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, cost control, risk management, change management, and stakeholder communication
• Oversee delivery of COTS, SaaS, and custom software solutions supporting critical infrastructure and business systems
• Direct efforts related to data management, migration, interface development, and governance implementation
• Utilize enterprise-level project and portfolio tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Azure DevOps) to drive transparency and results
• Partner with procurement teams to manage vendor relationships and contract execution
• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior PMs, promoting best practices and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 10+ years leading complex technology projects, including hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
• Proven record of delivering enterprise software solutions (COTS, SaaS, or custom) at scale
• Experience leading data migration and system integration efforts involving multiple business domains
• Demonstrated expertise in full project governance: scheduling, cost, risk, change, and performance metrics
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Planview, and Azure DevOps
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
• Background managing procurement cycles, vendor contracts, and cross-functional coordination

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience aligning project portfolios with enterprise strategies and transformation goals
• Familiarity with PMBOK and Agile methodologies
• Experience in the public sector or regulated environments
• Background in IT service management or process improvement frameworks
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or CSM

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• PMP or other advanced project management certification preferred
