Job summary

Kelly Science is seeking a Project Manager for Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Operations in Petaluma, CA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on leading cross-functional programs across Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Quality, and drug development, with onsite preference (2-3 days on site).

You will identify delays, remove blockers, coordinate resources, and drive accountability while providing leadership updates to executives and strengthening PM processes as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
• Proven ability to manage several projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong scheduling and Gantt chart experience.
• A professional but persistent leadership style.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Quality, or drug-development teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and Gantt charts.
• Follow up with project owners and drive accountability for deadlines.

$63-72/hour, depending on experience

We’re looking for a Project Manager who does more than ask, "Are we still on schedule?"

Our client is a growing medical device and pharmaceutical organization with multiple projects underway across Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Quality, and drug development. They need a proactive project leader who can uncover what is causing delays, remove obstacles, coordinate resources, and keep teams accountable.
