Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to drive complex initiatives with a focus on software development and implementation. You will coordinate dependencies, engage stakeholders, and ensure adherence to enterprise processes and budgets.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with annual operating plan and project agreements. Travel around 25% may be required depending on location and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in project or program management, with preference for software development/implementation projects.
• PMP, Agile, and/or Scrum certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages intra-project dependencies and their interrelationship and impact upon other programs and projects.
• Ensures compliance with TTPDP and other Trane Technologies’ processes & policies.
• Operates in a team environment for the effective performance of the project in completing assignments.
• Analyzes and identifies alternatives to ineffective or outdated standard processes by partnering to drive continuous improvement within program management across the Enterprise.
• Involves relevant stakeholders in identifying root causes of problems.
• Manages complex projects or a phase of a large project to ensure milestones are completed within budget.
• Tracks performance and progress against the projected timeline.
• Owns project management of action item resolution and business requirement decisions.
• Works independently to manage multiple projects and maintain robust standard work.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on managing the AOP and PA lifecycle.
• Supports Enterprise Engineering Excellence on business transformation priorities.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 25% depending on location and projects).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years of experience in project or program management is required, demonstrated experience leading software development/implementation projects preferred
• PMP, Agile, and/or Scrum certificate(s) a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
