Job summary

Govserviceshub in Brooklyn, NY invites a Senior Project Manager to join the Legacy Replacement Program. Role: RCI-NYCERS-12222025, duration 12 months, reporting to the Delivery Office.

You will oversee large-scale projects within the Enterprise PMO, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure milestones are met. Responsibilities include applying PMI PMBOK guidelines, managing scope, schedule, costs, risks, and communications, and driving process improvements through standardization

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects and sub-projects.
• 5+ years in PMO/PM across multiple projects/divisions.
• Senior level experience with strategy development for organizational change.
• Familiar with PMO practices, governance and resource management.
• Experience with system integration vendors and ~15 staff.
• PM focal point for overall project status, changes, scope, schedule, costs, risks and communications.
• Independently guide project teams and promote collaboration.
• Strong stakeholder and communications management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience creating informative reports for upper management.
• Proactive in integrating feedback to refine deliverables.
• MS 365 tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
• PMP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM consultant services to client for completion of assigned projects within the client portfolio.
• Work within the EPMO for the Legacy Replacement Program reporting to the Deputy Delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support client projects.
• Follow PMI PMBOK guidelines and project lifecycle for all initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements through standardization, automation, and BPR.

PROJECT MANAGER 3– SCOPE OF SERVICES:

Senior Project Manager L3 shall provide Project Managementconsultant services to client for the completion of assigned projects withinthe client portfolio of projects.

• The Senior ProjectManager will work within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)for the Legacy Replacement Program reporting to the Deputy Delivery ofDelivery.
  
• The Senior ProjectManager will provide project management services to support client whilealso working alongside vendors specific to the Legacy Replacement Program.
  
• The Senior ProjectManager will follow the PMI PMBOK Project Management guidelines, conceptsand the project management life cycle in all project initiatives. Provideguidance and support in identify, assessing, and recommending processimprovement opportunities through standardization, automation, andbusiness process reengineering (BPR) efforts
  

Requirements

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 8 years’ experiencein project management, coordination and administration of large-scaleprojects comprised of sub projects and/or multiple works streams.
  
• Minimum of 5 years’experience as a Project Management Office (PMO) & Project Manager,providing management and coordination efforts across differentprojects/divisions.
  
• Senior level experiencewith developing strategies and plans when introducing functional change toan organization.
  
• Experience working withina Project Management Office (PMO) function or unit, with a goodunderstanding of PMO practices and policies, including Project Governanceand Resource Management.
  
• Experience working withSystem Integration vendors in managing, coordinating and delegatingproject assignments with project stakeholders including employees andconsultant project staff numbering a minimum of 15 personnel.
  
• As Project Manager actsas the focal point of contact regarding overall project status, monitoringand control. Including project change, scope, schedule, costs, quality,communications, risks, procurements and stakeholder management.
  
• Independently guide andmanage project team(s) effectively while also promoting a collaborativeenvironment.
  
• Strong Stakeholder andCommunications Management experience and skills.
  
• Excellent interpersonalskills including team leadership and management, negotiation,collaboration, problem resolution and customer service.
  
• Experience creatinginformative, clear, concise, actionable reports for upper managementdetailing progress, challenges, and next steps.
  
• Experience withproactively seeking and integrating feedback to refine deliverables.
  
• Strong skills inMicrosoft 365 software toolset, specifically Excel, SharePoint, Word,PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  
• Project ManagementCertification (PMP) Certification required
