Job summary

Verto People Ltd in New York is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead corporate interiors and architectural projects from initiation through construction completion.

You will manage multiple projects, serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory agencies, and oversee scope, budgets, schedules, contracts and team leadership while protecting the design vision and financial success.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing interior design and/or architectural projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience across all phases of delivery, including programming, space planning, FF&E and CDs.
• Working knowledge of building, fire and accessibility codes for interior environments.
• Understanding of corporate commercial real estate objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project and Excel.
• Experience with Mural.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not available).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously through all phases of delivery.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, additional service requests, schedules and subconsultant agreements.
• Review client contracts and terms and conditions.
• Prepare RFPs and bid documents, and carry out bid levelling.
• Oversee project budgets, cost estimate reviews and billing with the accounting team.
• Lead weekly team meetings, develop work plans and assign and monitor tasks.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on project documentation.
• Attend site visits across low-, mid- and high-rise buildings.
• Contribute to proposals, client interviews and business development.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.

Our client, an established New York interior design and architecture practice, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead corporate interiors and architectural projects from initiation through construction completion.

You’ll manage multiple projects of varying size at once, acting as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory agencies. The role covers the full picture: scope, fees, schedules, contracts, budgets and team leadership, while protecting the design vision and the project's financial success. You’ll also work closely with the office’s senior leadership to shape firm-wide processes and standards.

The role :
