Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior project leader to manage medium to large projects within the Motion Renewables Product Solutions group. This role reports to the Local Business Line Manager, Renewables Service and involves remote work with accountability for project execution, continuous improvement, and tender support.

You will lead teams, drive contract closure, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to ABB policies and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred.

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
• Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

This position reports to:

Local Business Line Manager, Renewables Service

Leads the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Supports (when required) the local management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. Takes accountability (when required) for a portfolio of projects.

The work model for the role is: Remote

This role is contributing to the Motion Renewables Product Solutions business line.

You will be mainly accountable for:
