Job summary

GH Engage is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Mount Prospect, IL, to lead commercial construction projects and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. The role emphasizes strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have federal construction experience and proficiency with MS Office and CM software such as Procore or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager within commercial construction.
• Federal construction experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management principles.
• Experience managing project documentation, subcontractors, and client communications.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and assist with forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Proactively identify project risks and implement effective solutions.
