Job summary

Titan America LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Cement & Aggregates based in Medley, FL. You will lead the full lifecycle of capital projects, partnering with engineering, operations, procurement and external firms to ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in heavy industrial project delivery, strong analytical and communication skills, and travel about 25%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience managing capital projects in heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of industrial project delivery across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with MS Project and engineering software such as AutoCAD/Navisworks/BIM 360.
  • P.E. license and PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead feasibility studies, cost estimates, schedules and ROI optimizing solutions.
  • Develop engineering concepts and coordinate design/permits with teams and consultants.
  • Define scopes of work with procurement for equipment, construction, and install.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for lifecycle cost, reliability and maintenance.
  • Oversee permitting, construction, commissioning and startup activities.
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation to keep projects on track.
  • Travel approximately 25% to Titan America operations.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager – Cement & Aggregates will be based in Medley, FL, supporting projects across Titan America’s operations.

This role leads the full lifecycle execution of capital projects—from feasibility through commissioning—ensuring delivery against safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives. The position operates as a key member of the Corporate Engineering team, partnering closely with Business Unit leadership, plant operations, procurement, and external engineering firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead feasibility studies, including development of capital cost estimates, project schedules, and technical solutions that maximize return on investment
  • Develop and evaluate engineering concepts; coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on detailed design and permitting activities
  • Define scopes of work and supply in partnership with Corporate and Business Unit procurement teams for equipment, construction, and installation
  • Evaluate vendor proposals with a focus on life cycle cost, reliability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership
  • Oversee project execution, including permitting, construction, installation, commissioning, and startup
  • Monitor and report on project performance (cost, schedule, quality), providing clear updates to stakeholders
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery remains on track
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across capital project delivery and execution standards
  • Travel across Titan America operations (~25%) to support project oversight and field execution
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing capital projects in heavy industrial environments (cement, aggregates, mining, or similar sectors)
  • Strong understanding of industrial project delivery across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar)
  • Knowledge of BIM 360, Navisworks, or similar tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with cement manufacturing processes, equipment, and key vendors preferred
  • Experience in terminal (import/export) construction is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects independently while influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Uncompromising commitment to safety
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
