Job summary

Russell Tobin seeks a Senior Project Manager in Medford, OR to lead the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior staff and drive high-demand projects in a fast-paced environment, focusing on cleaner, smarter environmental solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering, PE license in Oregon or eligibility within 1 year, and 15+ years in municipal infrastructure with a strong water/wastewater background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering or related field.
• PE Registration in Oregon or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 15+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure.
• Proven leadership in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordination.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for rehabilitation or replacement of municipal infrastructure, including treatment, pump stations, storage, water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure system operations and develop plans and recommendations for operational improvements.
• Oversee mechanical systems design (treatment facilities, pump stations, etc.), including electrical and structural components.
• Manage subcontractors providing ancillary services (geotechnical, environmental, cultural, survey, etc.).
• Manage project bidding and award, contractor coordination, construction oversight, project financing, and closeout services.
• Support clients to identify funding sources and coordinate applications for funding.
• Serve as a technical authority and mentor junior engineers.
• Guide small and underfunded utility providers to modernize aging infrastructure.
• Manage project delivery and meet client needs and expectations.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• PE (Professional Engineering) Registration in Oregon or the ability to obtain an Oregon License within 1 year
• 15+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure
• Proven leadership in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordination
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater engineering
• Strong technical knowledge and practical field experience
