Job summary

Invio Automation is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead complex automation projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Finance, and Engineers, oversee ERP-based milestones, and mentor a team of PMs and PMEs while delivering clear progress reports and managing changes effectively.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management.
• At least five years of related experience in project management, planning, and financial tracking.
• At least two years of experience managing multiple projects and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to delivered on time, on budget, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage communications with customers and Invio personnel.
• Support project engineers in defining scope, schedule, goals, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain project timing, financials, and milestones in the ERP.
• Oversee project teams to complete tasks on schedule.
• Monitor customer requirements, quality, cost, and timing of projects.
• Manage customer POs, billing, and invoicing; create project numbers for new projects.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication with customers and staff.
• Handle multiple moderately complex projects concurrently.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver progress reports.
• Proactively manage scope changes, ECOs, and contingency planning.
• Show professionalism and provide efficient service to customers.
• Schedule activities and document information per Invio policies.
• Lead, mentor, and assist Project Managers and Engineers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Project Managers play a crucial role in our organization, as they are responsible for supporting the planning and execution of our most complex projects for our key customers. They work closely with Sales and Estimating, Finance, Project Engineers, and the customer to ensure solid communication and oversee all aspects of the project from start to finish, including financial management.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Key leader supporting the delivery of projects on time, on budget, and driving customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer communications and meetings with external customers & Invio personnel.
• Support project engineers with defining project scope, schedule, goals, and deliverables that achieve customer expectations.
• Establish/maintain all project timing, financial aspects, and key milestones within the ERP system.
• Manage the overall project/program team to complete tasks on schedule.
• Monitor and manage customer requirements, quality, cost, and timing elements of assigned projects.
• Manage customer POs, billing, and invoicing. Create project numbers for new projects.
• Must display exceptional oral and written communication skills with all customers and internal Invio employees.
• Work concurrently on one or more projects of moderately complex scope.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver progress reports.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, generate ECO’s as necessary, and identify potential crises and create contingency/recovery plans.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to customers.
• Schedule activities to complete assigned tasks and projects, communicate and document requisite information per established Invio Automation policies and procedures.
• Lead, mentor and assist Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to obtain project management professional certification(s).

EDUCATION

A four-year degree from an accredited institution in Engineering (preferred), Business Administration, or Project Management. At least five years related experience in project management, planning, and financial tracking. At least two years of experience managing multiple projects and a minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
