Job summary

F.H. Paschen, a long-standing construction company, is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead large-scale private and public sector projects. This role requires managing budgets of $80–$100 million and supervising project teams from kickoff through close-out.

You will be the key liaison among owners, architects, subcontractors and staff, coordinating estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and risk management while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience with a general contractor managing projects or programs.
• Ability to manage project and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Manage one large $80-100M project or multiple smaller projects.
• Point of contact for management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more.
• Participate in life cycle of project including estimating, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Supervise project teams on the assigned contract(s).
• Collaborate with other Project Manager(s) to find alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with Superintendent(s).
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs.
• Develop field QA/QC plan with Superintendent.
• Collaborate on the project safety plan with Superintendent(s).
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/Affirmative action contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position is a managerial position responsible for managing projects and leading teams. Projects may vary between private and public owners.

• Responsible for the management of one large 80-100 million-dollar or multiple smaller 20-1-million-dollar construction projects.
• Point of contact for management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more
• Ability to participate in life cycle of project including, but not limited to, estimating, value engineering, and scheduling.
• Supervisory responsibility for the project teams on the assigned contract(s)
• Collaborate with other Project Manager(s) to find alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with Superintendent(s)
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
• Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent.
• Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s)
• Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements.

• B.S in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience with a general contractor managing projects or programs is required.
• Ability to manage project and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
• Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills are necessary.
