Job summary

Trade31 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Cincinnati, OH to guide large-scale construction projects from start to finish. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, drive timelines and budgets, and mentor engineers, architects, and contractors.

The role demands leadership, advanced scheduling, risk management, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. A strong safety ethos and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar).
• Experience managing budgets of $10M+ and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety by following all OSHA, EPA, and ODH policies and procedures.
• Lead the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and inspire project team members—project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors alike.
• Establish and maintain excellent client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring accountability and high-quality delivery.
• Monitor budgets and control costs, making sure projects stay financially healthy.
• Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety practices.
• Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams to keep everyone aligned.
• Resolve conflicts or challenges quickly and effectively, keeping projects on track.
• Negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and approve invoices as needed.
• Develop and maintain project documentation—schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports.
• Prepare regular status updates and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project close-out activities, including punch lists, inspections, commissioning, and final handover.

• A proven ability to balance technical execution with team development
• Experience managing budgets of $10M+ and leading multi-disciplinary teams preferred
