Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join the Remediation & Regeneration team, delivering complex projects with strong governance and client leadership.

You will mentor teams, oversee delivery, and drive growth while maintaining safety and Jacobs processes. You will engage with clients, forecast and plan, manage budgets and schedules, and lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, environment and operations disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or client portfolios.
  • Proven record of managing project financial performance, schedules, risk, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring project managers and technical professionals.
  • Experience supporting client relationship management, business development, and growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safe project execution and operational excellence.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide delivery oversight for remediation and regeneration projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and compliance with Jacobs processes.
  • Support project governance activities, monitor financial and operational performance, and resolve project/client challenges.
  • Act as a Framework Manager interfacing with clients on forecasting, business planning, opportunity development, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Mentor project teams and collaborate with senior leaders to drive operational excellence and growth.

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our Remediation & Regeneration (R&R) team. This unique role combines the responsibilities of Senior Project Manager, Delivery Project Executive (DPE), and Framework Manager (FM), providing opportunities to lead project delivery, support operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and drive growth across strategic programs.
Working closely with project managers, technical leaders, and operations leadership, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to project teams, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with Jacobs processes. You'll provide delivery oversight, support project governance activities, monitor financial and operational performance, and help resolve project and client challenges. As a Framework Manager, you'll act as a key interface with clients, supporting forecasting, business planning, opportunity development, and long-term growth strategies.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across project delivery, operational leadership, and business growth while working alongside senior leaders and supporting some of Jacobs' most important client relationships.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or client portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success managing project financial performance, schedules, risk, quality, and client satisfaction.

Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Professional registration or certification (PE, PG, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Experience serving as a Project Executive, Framework Manager, Portfolio Manager, or similar operational leadership role.
  • Experience with environmental, remediation, infrastructure, industrial, or government projects.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, forecasting, utilization, and gross margin management.
  • Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

The base salary range for this position is $146,600.00 to $195,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
