Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center initiatives. You’ll own full lifecycle delivery from site development through turnover, coordinating with project executives, field leadership, and clients to ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Based in Centennial, CO, this on-site role demands strong electrical systems knowledge, risk management, and hands-on leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of proven project management experience in electrical data center construction or large-scale industrial facilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field encouraged.
  • NFPA 70E or OSHA certification encouraged.
  • Experience with PM software tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and Primavera P6 encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Initiation: define scope, goals, and deliverables; develop plans, schedules, and budgets; assess risks.
  • Team Management: lead electricians, technicians, and subcontractors; set expectations and monitor performance.
  • Resource Allocation: coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel; manage procurement and vendor relations.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring: ensure safety and quality; track progress, budget, and timelines; report status.
  • Change Management: handle scope changes; document and communicate updates.

Job Summary As a Project Manager (PM) at Loenbro, you will be an essential part of our project team leading the delivery of next generation hyperscale and AI data center campuses supporting cloud, AI, and high-performance computing workloads. This role provides full lifecycle ownership of mission-critical infrastructure projects from site development through commissioning and turnover along with successful execution of several projects. You’ll work closely with the Project Executive, Field Leadership, and customers, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the project’s overall success.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Team Management: Build and lead project teams, including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and monitor team performance to ensure project objectives are met. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet project requirements. Manage procurement and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring: Supervise all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines, and take proactive measures to address any issues or deviations. Regularly communicate project status to clients and stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Handle project changes and scope adjustments efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs. Document and communication changes to all relevant parties.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and records. Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to management and clients.
  • Project Closure: Conduct project reviews to evaluate performance against project objectives and client expectations. Ensure all project deliverables are completed, and necessary documentation is provided to clients. Prepare and submit final project reports and invoices.
