Job Description




Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager is expected to work seamlessly in a collaborative team environment with other project entities including the client/owner and other consultant staff. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:

    Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverables
  • Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project
  • Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements
  • Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities
  • May represent owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings
  • Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is required
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience as a Project Manager and an additional 3 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager supervising staff is required
  • Experience with public projects within or adjacent to occupied facilities is required
  • Advanced knowledge and application of engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices; construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling; and project and contract documentation is required
  • Thorough understanding of project development, design phase management, A/E solicitation, contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings is required
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as eBuilder, Kahua and Primavera are required
  • Proficiency with various document control systems, as well as new construction and modernization Aviation and/or Transportation is preferred
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect is preferred
  • Certified Construction Manager is preferred
  • Past experience on transportation facilities, including airports, is preferred

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $152,500-$172,500
