About Arc4 Design:

Arc4 Design is an award-winning, design-focused architecture, planning and Interior design firm with offices in South Florda and Up-State New York. The practice presently has 14 employees located in the two offices. Our Florida Office is seeking an Architectural Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to join our team.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of their assigned projects. The Senior Project Manager is expected to deliver the highest quality work while ensuring the client’s and company’s expectations are met for function, aesthetics, schedule and budget.

The right candidate must be committed to design excellence and illustrate a proven ability to translate the design process successfully into the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently communicates professionally, thoroughly, and articulately with clients, consultants and staff
• Work directly with the Office Director and Principals to prepare design presentations for clients
• Establish design criteria and track project compliance with zoning and building codes
• Manage project team and team members’ workload, assures tasks are timely completed and properly documented
• Mentor interns and junior staff, ensuring their professional development
• Monitor project finances and schedule to ensure on budget and on time deliverables
• Contributes to preparation of design documents and leads the detailed development of construction documents during all project phases to successfully deliver the project to the client
• Keeps the Principal in Charge informed of progress on project expectations, deadlines, and deliverables
• Leads project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and sub-contractors
• Works with Office Director in determining project staffing needs and recommending personnel
• Directs client invoicing and helps effectively manage collections.
• Effectively manages multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Coordinates all Project efforts to ensure effective execution.
• Prepare strategic plans, and services as primary client liaison.
• Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of the assigned projects.
• Prepare strategic plans and schedule workflow for project success.
• Actively manage client’s budget expectations, schedules, and programs, project communications and documents; office administrative tasks; and project team.
• Estimates scope of work and oversees project team.
• Assist Principals in determining scope of work to help in the preparation of proposals and responses to RFP’s.
• Direct and monitor project team members and ensures efficiently high productivity.
• As PM you will be responsible for team members’ work done under your supervision.
• You will report directly to the Department Head and Managing Partners.

Requirements

• Licensed architect with 10 years minimum post-grad experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience as lead Project Manager on several completed projects, from conception through completion. Office and multifamily experience is required
• Experience with full-service construction documentation is a must
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
• Technical proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office a must
• Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems
• Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines
• Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology and material application
• Ability to travel if required
• Attention to detail on all project related tasks
• Authorization to work in the United States
