Department: Project Management
About the Role

Join one of the region’s premier electrical contractors, known for our strong leadership, commitment to employee growth, and our relentless focus on Quality, Safety, and Productivity (QSP). As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead complex commercial electrical projects—primarily data centers and mission-critical facilities from concept through completion. You’ll be responsible for schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction while driving QSP excellence and mentoring the next generation of project leaders.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building projects—and teams—that set the industry standard.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead all phases of large-scale commercial and data center electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring consistent communication, strong relationships, and customer satisfaction.
  • Review plans, specifications, and contracts to define project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and direct project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones and uphold QSP standards.
  • Oversee procurement, material logistics, and field coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective performance.
  • Track budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maintain profitability and prevent overruns.
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change directives, and change orders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining a proactive approach to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Lead project meetings with clients and internal teams, ensuring accountability and alignment.
  • Mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and field leadership to promote professional growth and team success.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and leveraging technology to improve performance.
  • Ensure full project closeout, documentation, and turnover to the client.
What You’ll Need
  • 9+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction project management, including large commercial or data center projects.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-million-dollar electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
  • Expertise in cost forecasting, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
  • Journeyman Electrician certification and data center experience are strong pluses.
  • Experience in the field or office managing Commercial Electrical projects preferred or education in Construction Management, Engineering or related field of study.
Additional Requirements
